Full Biography:
James received a B.A., magna cum laude, from Siena College in 2012, and a J.D., summa cum laude, from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2015. As an undergraduate, James served as President of the Political Science Society and as a Board Member for The Center for the Study of Government and Politics. In 2012, James received the Political Science Department’s Civic Leadership Award. While attending Touro Law, James served as the New York Constitutional Law Issue Editor for the Touro Law Review as well as a Writing Coach for the Writing Center. James received several CALI Awards for Academic Excellence, the ABA/BNA Award for Excellence in the study of Intellectual Property law, as well as an award for Exemplary Contributions to the Quality of Student Life. James is admitted to the New York State Bar and is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and the Federalist Society. James practices primarily in trademark and copyright law as well as intellectual property litigation.
