Full Biography:

Mickey received a B.A. degree, cum laude, in biology and religious studies from Colby College in 2004. Mickey received a J.D. degree, cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law, where he was a Dean’s Scholar, a member of the Quinnipiac University Health Law Journal, and a member of the Intellectual Property Law Society. Additionally, he participated in the Federal Judicial Externship Program with The Honorable Stefan Underhill in the United States District Court, Bridgeport, CT. Mickey is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is admitted to the Bars of Connecticut and New York. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, as well as the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity. Additionally, Mickey possesses language skills that include proficiency in Spanish. Mickey practices primarily in the areas of patent and trademark prosecution, as well as infringement and freedom-to-operate searching, and his practice encompasses a variety of biological and computer-related technologies. Also, Mickey is a member of the adjunct faculty at the Fairfield University School of Engineering, where he teaches Management of Intellectual Property, and he additionally serves as the Intellectual Property Advisor for Fairfield StartUp, the annual Fairfield University Business Plan Competition. Mickey is also a member of the Angel Investor Forum, where he interacts with startup and early-stage companies covering a diverse array of technologies and consumer products.
